Whistle Blowers in the Airline Industry

I came across this article talking about all the maintenace problems with commercial airliners. Found it interesting how these workers experienced the negative effects of whistleblowing. Their jobs were threatened and reports of problems with the planes were never addressed. Seems unbelievable after all of the issues with corporate scandals in the last decade.
